AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce that the pool at Lake Wilmore Park Recreation Center will reopen to the public on Monday, March 23, following the completion of the final phase of the pool enclosure project.

The renovations, featuring new roll-up doors and a dehumidification system, allow the pool to operate as a fully functional, year-round aquatic facility. These improvements support Auburn Parks and Recreation’s ongoing commitment to enhancing amenities and providing high quality recreational opportunities for the community.

During the construction period, reduced monthly rates were in place to provide continued access to the other available recreation amenities. With the completion of the project, regular pricing will resume on April 1 as the pool reopens for year-round use. The regular rates are as follows:

Standard Monthly Rates (effective April 1):

• Individual: $20/month

• Family: $60/month

• Individual Day Passes: $10/day

• Individual Day Passes (Pool Only): $5/day

Yearly Memberships (available April 1):

• Individual: $200/year

• Family: $600/year

Auburn Parks and Recreation thanks members and guests for their patience throughout the construction period and looks forward to welcoming the community back to the updated facility.

The Spring pool hours for Lake Wilmore Park Pool are:

Mondays-Thursdays: 6 a.m.-10 a.m. and noon-8:30 p.m.

Fridays: 6 a.m.-10 a.m. and noon-5:30 p.m.

Saturdays: 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Sundays: 1 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
